Description

The shape humorously recalls the shape of a mule’s testicles, but is actually lean pork surrounding a strip of lard, an antique tradition still in use today, especially in the Norcia area. The funny name derives from the history of mules helping mountain farmers in the Apennines for centuries with the heaviest loads on the steepest inclines.
LACTOSE AND GLUTEN FREE, NO DAIRY.
