Description

The broken spelled is obtained from whole wheat sprouts, that is, simply passed through a degrainer by breaking every grain into several parts (3 or 4 parts) and then screened in the gauge through a screening machine. It can be used in whole grains such as rice, soup, creamed soup, snacks, cold salad or chopped polenta type for meatballs. The most typical way to prepare it is to cook the sprouts, long soaked in water, in a creamed beans, possibly red, seasoned with aromatics with extra virgin olive oil. Ideal for preserving its properties is to accompany it with vegetables or with herbs and olive oil
